Abstract
This research was carried out at the Pekanbaru Civil Service Police Unit Office and Jondul localization in the Bambu Kuning Village, Tenayan Raya District. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the Effectiveness of the Implementation of the Task Force of the Civil Service Police Unit in Controlling Commercial Sex Workers in Jondul Housing, Bambu Kuning Village, Tenayan Raya District City Of Pekanbaru. Data collection techniques that the authors use in this study are observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Then the data analysis techniques that the authors use in this study are qualitative descriptive, Based on the results of research conducted by the authors of the implementation of the task of the Civil Service Police Unit in controlling commercial sex workers in Jondul Housing, Bambu Kuning Village, Tenayan Raya Subdistrict, is still less effective. this can be seen from the still many places of prostitution as well as the number of commercial sex workers in the Localization. In addition, the main obstacles faced by the Civil Service Police Unit in Controlling Commercial Sex Workers are a lack of personnel or human resources, as well as a lack of a legal umbrella that strengthens such control, and the participation of the community that helps regulate Commercial Sex Workers
