Abstract

This study aims to find out the listener's opinion about the Malay song poetry program on Zahra 94.7 FM radio in Pangkalan Kuras District, Pelalawan Regency. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method with the subject of 5 listeners who often actively listen to the Malay poetry program, the Manager of the Malay poetry poetry program, and Cultural Figures. Data by type and source are primary data and secondary data with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. This study uses a technique of data validity triangulation which is carried out to analyze the data qualitatively and draw conclusions. This study uses the concept of forming public opinion (Beliefs, Attitudes, and Perceptions). The results of this study indicate that "The listeners' opinions about the Malay dendang berpantun program on Zahra 94.7 FM radio in Pangkalan Kuras District, Pelalawan Regency, namely (1) Trust, from their listeners they stated that the Malay pantun dendang program was considered good in terms of meeting information needs. and entertainment for listeners, one of which is being a listener who often actively listens to the Malay dendang rhyming program. The amount of information obtained, namely broadcasts about the reciprocal rhyme segment accompanied by the use of Malay songs so that it will add insight and knowledge for listeners. (2) Attitudes can be seen from the many assessments conveyed by listeners who are always active in listening to the Dendang Melayu rhyming program on Zahra 94.7 FM radio stating that this program has been assessed as good because it is one of the interesting, exciting and good programs when it is being played. The broadcast takes place so that it is in great demand and listened to by listeners. (3) Perception, it can be seen from the listener's opinion about the Malay dendang berpantun program on Zahra 94.7 FM radio, which is already good, in terms of providing satisfaction received by listeners for the broadcast program given. Because this program contains reciprocal rhymes accompanied by Malay songs and has become one of the programs that are in great demand by listeners.
