Abstract

Thid study, entitled “Representation of Islamic Value in the Film Insya Allah Sah 2”. This film has meanings and signs that can be interpreted as a form of understanding the value of Islam in life. The purpose of this research is to find out the meaning of denotation, connotation and myth meaning contained in the film Insya Allah Sah 2. And how a film conveys a message that can be applied to everyday life which has important values that can motivate and refer to social realities in society. The research method used in this research is a qualitative research method which is an in-depth study. Clearly understands an apparent meaning. As well as using Roland Barthes' semiotic theory to analyze the meaning contained in each scene in the film Insya Allah Sah 2. The results of the research show that the film Insya Allah Sah 2 represents how in life we cannot forget the existence of God. Because humans are the creation of Allah SWT, we must always remember them so that we can get a life that is blessed by Allah SWT and how we must follow every commandment and obey the prohibitions in Islam. All these things are represented by using film as a medium so that the message of the filmmaker can be conveyed to the wider community. The things that the researchers want to recommend as input are for filmmakers and film academics to create quality films, and to film audiences, be wise audiences and choose films that build and provide new inspiration and apply them to everyday life.
