Abstract

Abstract Interpersonal Communication Of Parents And Children In Instilling Digital Literacy In Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Mujahiddin Islamic Education Institute (YLPI) Foundation Rista Aprilia 179110216 This study aims to determine how the interpersonal communication of parents and children in instilling digital literacy in using gadgets at an early age. Interpersonal communication is a process of sending and receiving messages in small groups. The intended communication is intended as a conveyer of information with a communication purpose as well as doing cooperation that is beneficial for both. By communicating, instilling digital literacy in children in using gadgets aims to provide positive values, and can accompany children and introduce the outside world by inviting more communication to create a harmonious atmosphere. Children are a group that is very easily affected by the sophistication of digital technology, so it is hoped that parents will instill digital literacy in children which is expected to have a positive impact on the stage of child development to have good knowledge. The use of gadgets for elementary school age children really needs supervision, so interpersonal communication between parents and children is expected to provide direction and knowledge in using gadgets. This study uses a qualitative method, using the techniques of Observation, Interview and Documentation. This study aims to enable parents to better provide an understanding of digital literacy in children using gadgets.
