Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the employee productivity factors in the processing of the Palm Oil Mill PT. Bina Pitri Jaya Kota Baru Tapung Hilir, as well as to describe the inhibiting factors in increasing work productivity of employees in the processing section of the Palm Oil Mill at the company. The formulation of the research problem is: "What are the factors of production productivity of employees of the palm oil mill processing division at PT. Pitina Jaya New City Tapung Hilir, as well as any inhibiting factors in increasing work productivity of employees in the processing of Palm Oil Mill at PT. Bina Pitri Jaya Kota Baru Tapung Hilir?" This type of research is descriptive survey research, which was conducted at PT. Bina Pitri Jaya, which is located in Kota Baru, Tapung Hilir District, Kampar Regency, Riau Province. The study population was all employees at PT. Bina Pitri Jaya Kota Baru, Tapung Hilir Subdistrict, Kampar Regency, totaling 106 people. Whereas as a sample determined as many as 48 employees, who are employees who work in the processing of palm oil mills at the company. The types and sources of data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Data collection is done by questionnaire, interview, and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis with quantitative and qualitative approaches. The results of this study concluded that: (1) Factors of employee productivity in the processing of palm oil mills PT. Bina Pitri Jaya Kota Baru Tapung Hilir, in terms of environmental factor indicators is the category "Good" with the percentage of respondents' responses amounting to 74.8%; (2) Employee productivity factors in the processing of palm oil mills PT. Bina Pitri Jaya Kota Baru Tapung Hilir, in terms of human factor indicators is the category "Good" with the percentage of respondents' responses amounting to 68.5%; (3) Employee productivity factor in the processing of palm oil mill PT. Bina Pitri Jaya Kota Baru Tapung Hilir, in terms of process factor indicators is the category "Good" with the percentage of respondents' responses amounting to 78.6%; and (4) Inhibiting factors in increasing work productivity of employees in the Palm Oil Mill Processing Section of PT. Bina Pitri Jaya, Kota Baru Tapung Hilir, among others are: lack of providing work motivation, ineffective management of the work environment, and lack of maximum work ability.
