Abstract

This research is motivated by the presence of several kinds of adolescent morals that are less commendable in the Koto Hamlet, Taratak Buluh Village, including teenagers who like to race wildly, get drunk and suck glue. The formulation of the problem in this research is how the role of parents in raising the morals of teenagers in Koto Hamlet, Taratak Buluh Village. cases with qualitative research. The main informants are parents who are in the Koto Hamlet, Taratak Buluh Village, especially for parents who have teenage children and the supporting informant is the Head of the Taratak Buluh Village Hamlet, Mr. Safaruddin. Data collection techniques used are interview and documentation techniques. Data processing and analysis techniques used in qualitative research are data cleaning, transcription, coding, categorization and interpretation. The results of this study there are several that can be produced that the role of parents in improving the morals of adolescents in Koto Hamlet, Taratak Buluh Village as follows; Demonstrating Something Good to Children, Teaching/Educating, Habituation/Training to Children, Advising Children with the Purpose of Educating, Giving Reprimands to Children, Providing Enlightenment/Direction to Children, Motivating/Reminding Children, Giving Educating Punishments
