Abstract

This research was motivated by the problem about children learning interest in reciting Al-Qur’an, when they had high learning interest in reciting Al-Qur’an, it could support teaching and learning process better. In contrast, when their learning interest was low, it could give impact on quality and their learning achievement. Based on that problem, researcher made this research entitled about the influence of family environment on children learning interest in reciting Al-Qur’an. Then, research formulation stated that was there any influence of family environment on children learning interest in reciting Al-Qur’an at Huta Lombang Lubis Village Panyabungan subdistrict Mandailing Natal regency? The purpose in this research examined to know the influence of family environment on children learning interest in reciting Al-Qur’an at Huta Lombang Lubis Village Panyabungan subdistrict Mandailing Natal regency. This research used quantitative method with correlational design. The subject was children in 7-12 years old in Huta Lombang Lubis Village and the object was the influence of family environment on children learning interest in reciting Al-Qur’an at Huta Lombang Lubis Village Panyabungan subdistrict Mandailing Natal regency. Meanwhile, the sample in this research took from all population in 35 children. According to data computation result and data analysis which was done by SPSS v.22, it got significant probability score in 0.118. this score bigger than 0.05 where 0.118 > 0.05, the conclusion stated that there was any influence between family environment on children learning interest in reciting Al-Qur’an at Huta Lombang Lubis Village Panyabungan subdistrict Mandailing Natal regency. The influence score of family environment on children learning interest in reciting Al-Qur’an at Huta Lombang Lubis Village Panyabungan subdistrict Mandailing Natal regency could be seen from pearson product moment probability score in 0.072 where correlation coefficient interval 0.027 or 7.2% in range 0.00 – 0.199. it meant that the influence of family environment on children learning interest in reciting Al-Qur’an at Huta Lombang Lubis Village Panyabungan subdistrict Mandailing Natal regency classified into very low category.
