Abstract

Moral development of students in schools is not only a transmitter of ideas but also guidance as transformers and catalysts of values and attitudes. Attitudes related to morals, praiseworthy moral assistance to students can be carried out gradually through training, so that they are embedded in the soul and manifest into a habit and eventually form good morals in everyday life. If morals are not formed, guided and directed by ustadz, students will have bad morals or personalities, for that ustadz plays an important role in forming good morals, namely easy morals such as being honest, keeping promises, trustworthy, forgiving and simple. From the survey results, it was found that there were symptoms in the character of students as follows: Some students did not carry out the tasks given by the cleric, some students did not follow school rules or regulations, some said words that were disrespectful and some students lacked discipline . So the formulation of the problem of this research is how to develop student morals at Muassasah Assagofatul Islamiyah (Pondok Pombing) in South Patani Thailand, with the aim of knowing the Moral Development of Students at Muassasah Assagofatul Islamiyah (Pondok Pombing) Patani Selatan Thailand. While this type of research is descriptive, with a population of 31 Ustadz, data collection techniques using a questionnaire, then all data is managed to obtain results, after the data is managed it gets very good results with a percentage of 92.05% between 86% -100%.
