Abstract
This research was motivated by the low motivation to learn PAI online students during the Covid-19 pandemic at RW 06 Tanah Merah Village, Siak Hulu District, Kampar Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of parental exemplary towards students' motivation to learn PAI online during the Covid-19 pandemic in RW 06 Tanah Merah Village, Siak Hulu District, Kampar Regency. This type of research is quantitative with a correlation approach. This study involved 70 respondents consisting of SMP / MTs and SMA / MA students. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and data analysis techniques used normality test, linearity test and hypothesis testing. The results of the study showed that there was an effect of parental exemplary on the online learning motivation of PAI students during the Covid-19 pandemic in RW 06 Tanah Merah Village, Siak Hulu District, Kampar Regency with a significance value of 0.001. The influence is very weak (0.146 or 14.6%). Meanwhile 0.854 or 85.4% of PAI online learning motivation is influenced by other factors such as interests, environmental conditions and others.
