Abstract

This research was conducted by the author in the city of Palembang. Object taken from this research is Palembang Pempek Food Entrepreneurs. The purpose of this research is to be able to know the application of accounting which is carried out by entrepreneurs eating pempek dipalembang. Have you meet the basic concepts of accounting in conducting business. Data collected is primary data and secondary data. In general, Palembang pempek food businesses in the city of Palembang, in running their business, they have used the cash receipt book and cash disbursement, but the application of accounting in pempek food businesses Palembang in the city of Palembang has not yet separated personal expenses business expenses. It can be concluded that Palembang pempek entrepreneurs in Palembang city have not in accordance with the generally accepted accounting concepts, as for the concepts which referred to is the concept of business unity, the basics of recording, the concept of period time, the concept of sustainability and the concept of competition.
