Abstract
This research examines 28 perfume entrepreneurs in Mandau Duri Subdistrict. The problem in this research is the application of accounting to perfume business in Mandau Duri Subdistrict in accordance with the basic concepts of accounting in running its business. This study aims to determine the suitability of the application of accounting conducted by perfume shops in Mandau Duri District with the basic concepts of accounting. The data collected is primary and secondary data. Data collection methods used were questionnaires, structured interviews, documentation and observation. While the data analysis used is descriptive method. Based on the results of research and discussion it can be concluded that the application of accounting in the perfume shop business in Duri is not in accordance with the basic concepts of accounting.
