Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the effect of dhuha prayer performance on students' concentration of learning in Islamic religious education classes at SMK Perpajakan Riau. The type of research used is quantitative with a correlation approach. Subjects in the study were class XII students. The population in this study were Muslim Class XII students with a total of 209 people. The sample in this study was class XII students, a total of 84 people. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used is normality test and simple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of the study which obtained a significant value less than 0.05 equal to 0.000, the hypothesis is accepted in this study. The magnitude of the effect of dhuha prayer performance on students' learning concentration is in the low category with a correlation coefficient (R) of 0,348 which is in the range of 0,20 – 0,399. If the performance of the dhuha prayer is applied, it can affect the concentration of students by 14.7%. In this study, it can be concluded that the performance of the Duha prayer can increase the concentration of student learning in Islamic religious education classes. This research contributes to the development of the theory of student learning concentration in Islamic religious education through the implementation of the dhuha prayer in Islamic education.
