Abstract

In this research, the thesis is entitled Political Communication On Village Head Elections In Segati Village. This study aims to determine how political communication of the candidate for village head, heri sugiyarto. This research was conducted in segati village. This research approach uses the post-positivism paradigm. This type of qualitative with descriptive method. The determination of informant in this study used a purposive technique. The data collection tehniques used in this study were observation tehniques, interview techniques, and documention tehniques. The results of this study indicate that political communication used by Heri Sugiyarto is through figures and institutions, creating togetherness, and sorting and choosing media. Meanwhile, through these figures and institutions, Heri Sugiyarto did it to facilitate communication with the voting community so as to make influential figures in Segati Village as part of the victory. Creating togetherness with the voting community is done by Heri Sugiyarto and the winning part is to achieve the goal of political communication, this is done to togetherness, compose a hemophilic message to the community so that they can empathize so that the voting community can make their choice to Heri Sugiyarto. And lastly, what Heri Sugiyarto uses in political communication is sorting and selecting the media, this stage is the packaging of message in order to attract the sympathy of voters. This is done by conveying the vision and mission, the program that will be carried out, then the media campaign used by Heri Sugiyarto is to visit houses directly through interpersonal communication and mass communication channels.
