Abstract

2019 Hashtag Change President is one form of call people who are not satisfied with the performance of the government. The motion was born with the aim to lead people to do the change of president in the upcoming 2019 general election democratic party. Response about 2019 Hashtag Change President emerged from various parties that support or reject the motion. The purpose of this study was to determine the response of Pemuda Pancasila members Pekanbaru city about 2019 hashtag replace the presidential and factors that affect response to 2019 Hashtag Change President. In this study, the method used is qualitative research methods to capture the informant by means of snowball sampling and determine which key informant Regional Leadership Council Chairman Pemuda Pancasila Pekanbaru City. Data by type and source of data in the form and technique of primary and secondary data collection by observation, interview and documentation. In this study, data validity checking techniques using data triangulation technique. Data triangulation is intended that data collection researchers used multiple sources of data and to be executed by comparing the results of interviews with the observation of the data and then perform qualitative data analysis that can be drawn to a conclusion. Pemuda Pancasila members' Pekanbaru city responses to the 2019 hashtag replace the president publicly renounce the motion due to several factors: the motion is rated interfere with the government's performance, conducted before the campaign started and is potentially causing divisions amongst the people. The factors that affect response Pemuda Pancasila members Pekanbaru city about 2019 hashtag replace the presidential that this motion made during the president's term is still quite long, provocative and contained hate speech, utilizing religious activities as political activities and many conflicts among the community who supports and rejects the 2019 hashtag replace of the president.
