Abstract

Is entitled the Communication Phenomenon of Women Commercial Sex Workers among Students in the City of Pekanbaru. It is no longer a secret if the campus, which initially had a place to print academics and generations of intellectuals and moralists, is now the place to develop the practice of free sex among students. This phenomenon is one of the facts that shows that moral degradation has occurred in Indonesia. Moral degradation is not only happening to ordinary people, but also engulfing students who in fact are aspirants of the nation's intellectuals. This is evidenced by the widespread practice of prostitution in a number of universities. Women of Commercial Sex Workers in female students are a small part of the practice of prostitution. The purpose of this study was to find out the communication phenomenon of female commercial sex workers among students in Pekanbaru. In this case the researcher uses the Fenomenoligi Theory of Alfred Schutz who studies how phenomena are experienced in consciousness, mind and in action, such as how these phenomena are valued or accepted aesthetically. To get data from informants, the research conducted observations, interviews and documentation to the informants totaling three people. Informants from this study were students who carried out the profession as commercial sex workers in the city of Pekanbaru. Based on the Snowball Sampling technique and conducting data collection with interviews and documentation. From the results of the study, it was shown first, that the communication of the joint commercial sex workers among the female students of Pekanbaru was that there were no conflicts or disputes among them at all. Second, the motives of commercial sex workers among students in pekanbaru, (motive because) trauma, friend invitation, economic demands. (motives for hope) wanting to stop being Commercial Sex Workers, still wanting to become Commercial Sex Workers. Third, self-meaning as a Commercial Sex Worker, ie feeling himself sinful, feeling sorry, feeling resigned. Fourth, the media used by Commercial Sex Workers among Pekanbaru city students is weechat, beetalk, sms, via telephone.
