Abstract
This study aims to determine what employee relations activities contained in PT. Sumatera Kemasindo Pekanbaru and to find out what policies provided by HRD PT. Sumatra Kemasindo Pekanbaru against its employees regarding the employee relations activities. The purpose of holding employee relations is to get mutual understanding between employees or between leaders and all employees in an organization. Then another goal is to create harmonious cooperation between employees, and instill a sense of loyalty to employees and can create high morale. This research was held at PT. Sumatra Kemasindo Pekanbaru which is located on Jalan Lintas Timur KM. 16 by involving 5 people as research informants and using observation, interviews and documentation as a data collection. The results of this study indicate that the type of employee relations activities at PT. Sumatera Kemasindo Pekanbaru includes training programs, meetings with manager, competition in employees, and gatherings. Then the policies provided by HRD PT. Sumatera Kemasindo Pekanbaru, which generalizes all employees both age and class and this makes all employees feel comfortable and have high loyalty to the company and have an impact on improved productivity.
