Abstract

This research is motivated by the low application of honesty values among the students. This can be seen from some students who like telling liesto the teachers, tellingliesto the parents, cheating on tests and exams, and doing dishonest when shopping at the cafeteria. One way to improve the application of students’ honesty is by improving their spiritual intelligence. The formulation of the problem in this study is: Is there any Relations between Spiritual Intelligence and the Application of students honesty values in Class VII and VIII at MTs Islamiyah Desa Baru, Siak Hulu District, Kampar Regency?. This study aims to determine the relationsof spiritual intelligence and the application of students’ honesty values. The type of this research is correlation and it used test analysis correlations. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires and documentation. Meanwhile,the population of this study consisted of 49 people.Because the population in this study was not up to 100 people, so the entire population was sampled in this study. Based on the processed results using SPSS 22, the probability value of Sig is 0,000. Because the significance value is smaller <0.05, which is 0,000 <0,05, so it can be concluded that there is a relation between spiritual intelligence and the application of students’ honesty values at MTs Islamiyah Desa Baru, Siak Hulu District, Kampar Regency. This statement is proven from the Pearson correlation value of 0.483 or 48.3% and in the correlation coefficient interval lies in the range 0.40 - 0.599. From the data above, it shows that there is a moderate relationbetween Spiritual Intelligence and the application of students’honesty values at MTs Islamiyah Desa Baru, Siak Hulu District, Kampar regency.
