Abstract

This study is motivated by the low trust of muzakkis to pay their zakat, so that the existing zakat potential cannot be collected optimally. The organizational reputation and the Islamic service quality are components of creating a sense of trust among the muzakkis (the people who pay zakat). The problem formulation of this study is whether there is a significant influence of organizational reputation and Islamic service quality on muzakkis’ trust in LAZISMU Pekanbaru. The aim of this study is to investigate and analyze the influence of organizational reputation and Islamic service quality on muzakkis’ trust in LAZISMU Pekanbaru. The subject of this study is the muzakkis of LAZISMU Pekanbaru. While the object of this study is the level of muzakkis’ trust in LAZISMU Pekanbaru. The type of this study is quantitative research. The data sources of this study consist of primary data and secondary data. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are the classical assumption test, validity test, reliability test, linearity regression test and hypothesis test. A hypothesis is an evidence-based procedure used to determine whether a hypothesis is a reasonable statement (accepted), or whether the hypothesis is unreasonable (rejected). The results of this study show that there is a significant influence of organizational reputation and Islamic service quality on the trust of muzakki in the Muhammadiyyah amil zakat infaq shadaqah (LAZISMU) Pekanbaru.
