Abstract
A village-owned enterprise (Indonesian: Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes)) is a business company managed by the village community and local government as an effort to strengthen the village economy which is formed based on the needs and potential of the village. The establishment and implementation of BUMDes are intended to help the community to improve the economy. This study aims to investigate how the management of village-owned enterprise (BUMDes) in improving the community economy in Tanjung Medan Village, North Tambusai District, Rokan Hulu Regency. The problem formulation of this study is how the roles of Kembang Setanjung Sharia BUMDes in improving the community economy. The subject of this study is Kembang Setanjung Sharia BUMDes of Tanjung Medan Village. Meanwhile, the object of this study is the community who received funds from BUMDes in Tanjung Medan Village, North Tambusai District, Rokan Hulu Regency, Riau Province. The type of this study is field research. The data sources consist of primary data and secondary data. While data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is a qualitative descriptive approach. The results of this study show that the Kembang Setanjung Sharia BUMDes of Tanjung Medan Village, North Tambusai District, Rokan Hulu Regency play very important roles in improving the community economy.
