Abstract

This study aims to improve the biology learning outcomes of class XI IPA2 students of SMAN 4 Tambusai Utara Academic Year 2018/2019 through the application of by using TSTS which is a classroom CAR with descriptive data analysis. Data collection in this study began on February 25 to April 15 2019. Subjects in this study were students of class XI IPA2, which amounted to 34 students, consisting of 11 male students and 23 female students. The results of the data analysis of the cognitive value of students' average absorption of cognitive values before CAR 65.58% (very poor category) experienced an increase of 18.4% in the first cycle to 83.98% (sufficient category), and in the cycle experienced an increase of 0.28% to 84,22% (sufficient category). The results of the physical motoric analysis of students' average absorptive physical values before CAR 75,70% (less category) increased by 1% in the first cycle to 76,70% (less category), and in the second cycle increased by 80,52% (sufficient category).
