Abstract
This research is said in Pagaran Tapah Village, Pagaran Tapah Darussalam District, Rokan Hulu Regency, which aims to find out the appropriateness of accounting application in Pagaran Tapah Village, Pagaran Tapah District, Rokan Hulu Regency with Indonesian Accounting Association, Financial Accounting Assistance Guidelines for Public Sector Accounting Compensation (IAI-KASP : 2015). The types of data used by researchers are Primary Data and Secondary Data. Primary Data is data obtained from a direct interview with the treasurer of Pagaran Tapah Village regarding the history of the Pagaran Tapah Village, and the process of preparing village finances. Secondary data is data obtained from documents relating to Desa Pagaran Tapah, for example village vision and mission, notebooks and village financial reports. Data collection techniques used by the author is to use survey methods, namely by observation and interview. While the analysis of this study uses descriptive analysis using qualitative methods. The results of this study indicate that the application of financial accounting in the village of Pagaran Tapah is not fully in accordance with the General Acceptable Accounting Principles.
