Abstract

Islamic Education is a conscious and planned effort in prepare students to know, understand, live up to believe in, devote and have a noble character in practicing religious teachings Islam from its main source: Al-Qur'an and Hadist, through guidance activities, teaching, training and use of experience. Student activities follow learning tournament strategy in learning Islamic education should lead to motivation in students to be active and vibrant to learn, because the intensity of student learning is strongly influenced by motivation, the higher the motivation students have, the better the results study. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship student activities in taking part in Fiqh learning using strategy Learning Tournament with learning motivation in Central City MTsN. Subject used in this study were all VII grade students at MTsN Central City. The object used in this study is relationships Learning Tournament strategy with student motivation in MTsN Central City. The population of this study were Central City MTsN students who totaling 201 students and taking samples of class VII students as much as 25% of 201 students total 50 students. This study consists of two variables, namely variable X (Learning Tournament strategy) and variable Y (learning motivation). The data correlation analysis strategy used in this study is correlation product Moment. Based on the results of data processing a significance value of 0,000 < 0.05, then Ho is rejected. The value of the correlation coefficient is 0.708 at the interval the correlation coefficient is located stretch of 0.60-0.799 with the relationship level criteria strong. Thus the variable X (Learning Tournament strategy) and variable Y (learning motivation) there is a relationship. Then concluded that there is strong relationship between Learning Tournament strategies in learning Jurisprudence towards the motivation to study in Central City MtsN.
