Abstract

Performance was a competence in executing job and achieving the target done by management that was given from institution. Waqf was an Islamic economic instrument that had been exist from beginning of Islam arrival. In Islamic history, waqf showed important role in advancing social activities, economic and culture. This research conducted at Indonesian Waqf Agency Riau Province Representative where the management performance in executing their job. Meanwhile, the purpose in this research examined to know the management performance in executing their job at Indonesian Waqf Agency Riau Province Representative. Theoretical framework used in this research explained job description, job regulation, work time, and wages. This research used qualitative research, the informant in this research consisted of 3 persons as implementation division. Data collection technique in this research used observation, interview and documentation. Then, collected data analyzed by using qualitative theories such as data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusion. Based on data analysis from interview result with informant could be concluded that management performance at Indonesian Waqf Agency Riau Province Representative according to job description, job regulation, work time, and wages. The suggestion to the management at Indonesian Waqf Agency Riau Province Representative that should increase their performance even the description and role of work had been maximal.
