Abstract

ABSTRAK Implementation is an action of a plan that has been prepared carefully and in detail. It is an act or effort to do, carry out, and teach in teaching and learning process. Assessment is a very important thing in the learning process because it distinguishes between one student and the others in determining the high and low quality of students. Based on preliminary studies that the writer did to the teachers of Islamic studies at MTsS Al Fata Pasir Agung, there were several signs encountered as follow: The teachers only assessed the attitude, but they did not assess self-assessment, oral tests, written tests, products, performance, projects and portfolios; the teachers only assessed by oral tests and written tests, but they did not observe the attitudes, self-assessment, products, performance, projects or portfolios; or the teachers only assessed projects, performance, portfolios, but they did not assess self-assessment, attitude, oral tests or written tests. The formulation of problem in this study is: how is the implementation of authentic assessment in studying Islamic studies at MTsS Al Fata Pasir Agung. This study aims to determine the implementation of authentic assessment in studying Islamic studies at MTsS Al Fata Pasir Agung. The type of this research is descriptive quantitative. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires and documentation, after being compiled and presented into a description, then to be analyzed in order to get conclusions. The result showed that the Implementation of authentic assessment in studying Islamic studies at MTsS Al Fata Pasir Agung was “Very Good” with a result of 81.3%. According to the category of 81% - 100%, it is in the level of "Very Good".
