Abstract

Moral education is one of crucial part in education field. Human is not only needs knowledge but also spritual power in order to be a good human in accordance to Islamic norms. We can get education from anywhere,one of them from literature. One of the most popular literature works is Di bawah Lindungan Ka‟bah from Buya Hamka‟s works. The novel is loaded with commendable moral messages that reflected in the attitudes and behavior of the characters in them. From the author‟s background, the reseacher want to discuss in this thesis entitles “ Moral educational values in Novel entitles “Di Bawah Lindungan Ka‟bah Buya Hamka‟s works. This was qualitative study with library approach where tend to library reseach such as books, articles or other documents. In collecting the data used documentation method mean seaching data about about variables in the form of notes, transcrips, books, newspapers, magazines, inscriptions, minutes of meetings, agendas and so on. In analyzing data, the reseacher used reduction data, display, verification, and conclusion. Content analysis was used to analyzing data means one of analysis that used to uncovering, understanding and comprehending the content of literature works. From data analysis, it can be concluded that moral educational values contained in novel entitles Di bawah Lindungan Ka‟bah from Buya Hamka‟s works included Morals to Allah, namely being obedient, resignation, thanksgiving, good thinking (husnuzon). Then, moral to oneself is to maintain self-purity and discipline. As well as morals towards humans, such as namely helping each other and humble.
