Abstract
This research was conducted at UPK (Financial Management Unit) BKM Gumala which has the objective to find out whether the accounting applied to the UPK Gumala is in accordance with General Acceptable Accounting Principles. Research data used by the Gumala Financial Management Unit (UPK) is primary data and secondary data, whereas the data collection techniques used with do an interview. Research results found at UPK Community Self-Reliance Agency Gugukmalintang Urban Village, Padanpanjang District, Padangpanjang City are 1) Do not make a report on the inventory 2) UPK Gumala has not yet presented obligations in accordance with General Accepting Accounting Principles 3) Compilation process the financial statements at Gumala UPK (Financial Management Unit) are not yet appropriate with General Accepting Accounting Principles 4) Has not yet presented notes to financial statements
