Abstract
Al Hidayah Sukamaju Foundation is a non-profit organization engaged in education which is located in the village of sukamaju, kecamatan singingi downstream kuantan singingi, riau. The purpose of this study was to determine the accounting suitability applied by Al Hidayah Sukamaju Foundation with General Acceptance Accounting Principles. The types of data collected in this study include Primary Data and Secondary Data. Whereas this research is sourced from written notes and documents, which have been provided by the Al Hidayah Sukamaju Foundation. The application of accounting at the Al Hidayah Sukamaju Foundation only makes a daily cash book and immediately compiles a Cash Flow and Balance Sheet Report. Al Hidayah Sukamaju Foundation does not prepare Activity Reports and Notes to Financial Statements. Data collection techniques through interviews and documentation. Data analysis in this research uses descriptive method. Based on the research results above it is known that the application of accounting for the Al Hidayah Sukamaju Foundation is not in accordance with the General Accepted Accounting Principles.
