Abstract

This study aims to determine and obtain evidence about variables that affect the use of accounting information in small businesses and intermediate in the Bukit Raya District of Pekanbaru City. By using Simple Random Sampling, The sample of this study consisted of 41 business owners small and medium sized sub-district of Bukit Raya Pekanbaru City. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire delivered to the respondent. Technical analysis of the data used is regression linear multiple. The results of data analysis using multiple regression showed that educational background and business experience have significant effects affect the use of accounting information. While the business scale and accounting training has no significant effect on the use of information accounting. Based on the results of the analysis conducted it was found that the coefficient value determination (R2) of 0.398 means that the educational background, scale effort, business experience and accounting training can explain variables dependent is the use of accounting information by 39.8%. While the remaining 60.2% is explained by other variables not included this model or regression.
