Abstract

Sharia financial technology is a finance sector innovation which advanced with modern technology. Financial transaction that was used through fintech consisted of payment, investment, taking a loan, money transfer, financial planning and comparing finance product. This research conducted to businessman of small and medium enterprise at Pekanbaru city. Research formulation in this research questioned how society understanding level in running small and medium enterprise at Pekanbaru city on sharia financial technology (fintech). Meanwhile, the prupose in this research examined to know the level of society understanding about small and medium enterprise at Pekanbaru city on sharia financial technology. This research used quantitative research and the target in this research was some businessmen in small and medium enterprise at Pekanbaru city. Data collection technique used questionnaire with guttman scale method and then the data processed by using editing, coding, and tabulation. Data analysis technique used descriptive analysis where the computation process was done by using SPSS for Windows Version 22.0. this research sampling involved 374 respondents. The research finding about businessman in small and medium enterprise understanding level on sharia financial technology at Pekanbaru city classified into strong enough in 40-60%.
