Abstract
Thepurpuso of this study was to determine the effect of affective commitment and career development on employee performance on pt.pln (persero) riau region and rayon talukkuantanlistrict. Data collection tecchnicques were obtained through interviews and questionnaires. Number of population and a sample of 64 people who were employeses at pt.pln. sampling technique is using the census method. The analysis of the data used is descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that simultan affective commitment and career development variable significant influence the dependent variable that is employee performance that can partially seen from the results of the t which shows that affective commitmen and career development variable have a significant effect on employee performance variable. And the value of R square shows value of 0,665. This shows that 0,665 x 100%= 66,5 affective commitment and career development influences by variable in the such as employee performance and while the remaining 35,5% are explained by other variable not included in the mode research.
