Abstract

Baitussa’adah honey bee business is one from of community effort in Batang Asam district. This research aims to describe bussiness management and analyze the ongoing management functions of Baitussa’adah honey bee business. The population set in this study is a member of Baitussa’adah honey bee farmers they are 77 people with a non-probability judgment sample of 12 people. Research conducted with this descriptive method uses data collection techniques in the from of interviews, observations, surveys and utilization of statement documents Addressed to a sample of research, 12 Baitussa’adah bee farmers. From the results of data processing related to the planning function indicator, 17% of respondents gave an answer score with good categories, 50% with enough categories, and 33% with a less good category. Related to the indicator of the organizing function 50% of respondents gave an answer score with a good category and 50% with enough categories. Related to the leadership function indicator 33% of respondents gave an answer score with a good category and 67% with enough categories. Related to the indicator of the supervisory function 67% of respondents gave an answer score with enough categories dan 33% with with a less good category. It can be counclude, that the management of honey bee in Baitussa’adah bee farmers is going quite well
