Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out whether the accounting application that has been implemented by the insit city is in accord with generally accepted accounting. When doing this research the writer has found several problems, namely in the insit village in presenting a report on the wealth of the village where the fixed assets account that has a userful life of more than one year is not calculated accumulated. Another problem that the authors found was that the Insit village wealth report in 2017 and 2018, the balance in the previous year was not presented in the village property report, so therefire in the village wealth report it still has an incomplete balance. In conducting this research, the writer uses descriptive method by comparing the existing practices and theories, the data measurement technique that the writer uses in this research is by using interview, documentation and observation techniques. The results of this study indicate that the application of accounting in insit villages is not in accordance with acceptable accounting.
