Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine the suitability level the application of accounting in the Daily Shop Business in the District of Bukit Raya City Pekanbaru with the basic concepts of accounting. Data collected is premier and secondary data. Data collection techniques in this study are through interviews, documentation and questionnaires. After all data is collected then analyzed using descriptive methods, so it is known whether Daily shop business in the Bukit Raya sub-district, Pekanbaru City has implemented accounting in accordance with the basic concepts of accounting. The results obtained from research conducted by the author are: (1) Daily Shop Entrepreneurs in the Bukit Raya District of Pekanbaru City have not applying the concept of business units, (2) the basis of the records used by Daily Shop owner in the Bukit Raya District of Pekanbaru City is Cash Base (3) Daily Shop Entrepreneurs have applied the concept of business continuity, (4) Daily Shop Entrepreneurs have not applied the concept of time period, (5) Entrepreneurs Toko Harian has not applied the concept of competition. Recording system which is conducted by a shop owner in the Bukit Raya District of Pekanbaru City have not been able to provide appropriate and quality information according to basic concepts of accounting in conducting business.
