Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of employee engagement and work commitment on employee performance. This research was conducted at the Prince Hotel Pekanbaru Riau, which is located at Jalan Jenderal Sudirman. The population in this study amounted to 116 people, while the research sample amounted to 36 people using purposive sampling method. Data analysis used multiple linear regression. The results of the research that have been carried out, where employee engagement has a positive and significant effect, besides that work commitment also has a positive and significant influence on employee performance. Where work commitment has the most dominant influence on performance. This study explains that employee engagement and work commitment simultaneously have a strong influence on employee performance.
