Abstract

This study has a purpose, namely: To analyze the income level of Distribution Stores (Distros) Before and During the Covid-19 Pandemic in Subdistrict Cinta Raja, Pekanbaru. The research approach used in this study is a quantitative approach. The data collection technique in this study is a documentation technique, by obtaining written data in the form of financial reports from JakclothStore, House Of Smith, Hurricane for the period 2019-2021. The results of this study indicate that there was a change in the level of distribution of business income in Pekanbaru City before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. This change in distribution business income is due to a decrease in people's purchasing power, restrictions on community activities, and reduced selling time, in line with the PPKM and PSBB policies. During the pandemic the number of buyers or customers decreased, but distribution efforts did not anticipate to reduce the impact of the decline in the number of customers. The working time of the distribution business has not changed much, that is, most do it in the morning and afternoon. Furthermore, with regard to selling locations, with the government's policy of blocking in various locations, access to distribution locations becomes blocked. As a result, many people who initially had the desire to shop at distributions discouraged their intention to visit these distributions, given the restrictions on several roads.
