Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of inflation on exchange rates, interest rates and the amount of money circulating (JUB) in Indonesia in 2008-2017. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of inflation on these factors in Indonesia. The data analysis method used in this study is simple linear regression analysis. The data used in this study is time series data (10 years). The results of the research that have been processed using E-views produce R2 and T Test as follows. Influence of Inflation on Exchange Rate R2 = 0.003775 means that 0.37% of the independent variable (Inflation) has been represented to explain the dependent variable (Exchange Rate), while the remaining 99.63% is explained by other variables outside the model. T test (partial) 0.8661> 0.05 then H0 accepted means that partially Inflation has a negative and not significant effect on the Exchange Rate in Indonesia. Influence of Inflation on Interest Rate R2 = 0.591045 means that 59.10% of the independent variable (Inflation) has been represented to explain the dependent variable (Interest Rate), while the remaining 40.9% is explained by other variables outside the model. T test (partial) 0.0094 <0.05 then H0 is rejected. This means that partially Inflation has a positive and significant effect on Interest Rates in Indonesia. And the Influence of Inflation on the Money Supply (JUB) R2 = 0.156162 means that 15.61% of the independent variable (Inflation) has been represented to explain the dependent variable (Money Supply), while the remaining 84.39% is explained by other variables outside the model . Based on the T test (partial) 0.2584> 0.05 then H0 is accepted. This means that partially Inflation has a negative and not significant effect on the amount of money circulating in Indonesia.
