Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of profitability, company size and asset structure on capital structure in pharmaceutical companies listed on the Indonesia stock exchange. The population in this study is the financial statements of pharmaceutical companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015-2019. The analysis technique used in this research is panel data regression analysis which is used to statistically test the hypothesis model, as well as the extent to which the proposed model is consistent with the data sample. The results showed that Profitability and Company Size had an effect on the Capital Structure of Pharmaceutical companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015-2019. Meanwhile, the asset structure has no effect on the capital structure of pharmaceutical companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015-2019, because the type of assets that can be pledged is that the fixed assets owned by the company are not multipurpose assets that are not very well pledged as collateral.
