Abstract
The Purpose of this study is to know the effect of the HDI Components of reducing the number of open unemployment rate in Riau Province. HDI Components at here consists of the Health Index, the Education Index and the Decent Living Standards Index. The Data used in this study is a panel data from 2010-2019 with 12 districts/cities in Riau Province as Research Sample. The Method used in this study is multiple regression on a panel data. The chosen model to analyze panel data is Fixed Effect Method (Fixed Effect Model). Final Result of this study indicate that the Health Index and the Education Index not having a significant effect, while the Decent Living Standard Index has a significant effect on Reducing the Open Unempolyment Rate in Riau Province Keywords: Health Index, Education Index, Decent Living Standard Index, Human Development Index, Open Unemployment.
