Abstract
In this study, electronics store owners in Marpoyan Damai Subdistrict, Pekanbaru City, numbered 23 electronic shop entrepreneurs. The problems raised in this study are whether the application of accounting in the electronics store business in Marpoyan Damai Subdistrict, Pekanbaru City is in accordance with the basic concepts of accounting in carrying out its business. The purpose of this study was to find out the application of accounting by electronic shop entrepreneurs whether they can produce financial information that is useful in managing their business. This study uses data types namely primary data and secondary data. To obtain data and how information is needed in the preparation of the thesis, data collection techniques are carried out by interview, documentation and observation Based on the results of the research and discussion about the analysis of the accounting application of electronics store entrepreneurs in Marpoyan Damai Subdistrict, Pekanbaru City, it can be concluded that the recording done is not in accordance with the basic concepts of accounting.
