Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the application of accounting carried out by bookstore entrepreneurs who have followed the basic concepts of accounting so that they can produce useful financial information in running their business. This research was conducted by the authors in the sub-district of Basis Kuras, Pelalawan Regency. With regard to this research, the object of this research is the bookstore entrepreneur in the base Kuras sub-district, Pelalawan district. In the research, there are 21 bookstore businesses in the base Kuras sub-district. This study uses the census method of all small bookstore businesses in the base Kuras sub-district. After all the data is collected, the data is grouped according to each type and then poured into a table form and the author can draw conclusions as a result of the research carried out. Based on the results of research and discussion, the application of accounting carried out by small bookstore entrepreneurs in Pangkalan Kuras is not in accordance with the basic concepts of accounting. keywords: Basic accounting concepts
