Abstract
ABSTRACT This research was conducted in Rupat District, Bengkalis Regency. With regard to this study, the object of the research was motorcycle workshop entrepreneurs in Rupat District, Bengkalis Regency. The problem raised in this study is whether the application of accounting in a motorcycle workshop business in Rupat District, Bengkalis Regency is in accordance with the basic concepts of accounting in carrying out its business. The purpose of this study was to determine the suitability of the application of accounting in a motorcycle workshop business in Rupat District, Bengkalis Regency. The data collected is primary and secondary data. Data collection methods that the author uses for writing purposes are structured interviews, documentation and observation. While the data analysis used is descriptive method. In general, motorcycle workshop businesses in Rupat District, Bengkalis Regency, in carrying out their business have used cash receipt books and cash disbursements, but the application of accounting in Motorcycle workshop businesses in Rupat District, Bengkalis Regency has not separated business expenses from outside business expenses.
