Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the financial management practices of Sialang Bungkuk Village, Bandar Petalangan District, Pelalawan Regency are in accordance with General Acceptable Accounting Principles. The research method used for this study uses primary data and secondary data. Where primary data is obtained by direct interview by the secretary and financial staff of Sialang Bungkuk Village, Bandar Petalangan Subdistrict, Pelalawan Regency, and secondary data is additional data in the form of data obtained from Sialang Bungkuk Village, Bandar Petalangan Subdistrict, Pelalawan District, such as village financial reports, transaction evidence, and the vision and mission of the village and the organizational structure of the village. In collecting and grouping data the writer uses Descriptive Data Analysis. After conducting research there are several problems found by the devil in this study including: (1) Not posting to the ledger, (2) Not recording the supply value at the end of the period, (3) Not making a depreciation of fixed assets at the end of the period. Based on the research that has been done, the authors found the results that the Application of Financial Accounting in the Village of Sialang Bungkuk, Bandar Petalangan District, Pelalawan Regency was not fully in accordance with General Accepted Accounting Principles.
