Abstract
The SG-05 well has a production rate that has dropped from 55.25 BOPD on February 23, 2018 to 14.16 BOPD on February 24, 2018. This decrease is caused by the formation of scales that inhibit fluid flow both in the perforation zone, tubing or flowline, as well as surface equipment so that pump performance is hampered and production decreases. The type of acid that is often used to overcome scale is Acetic Acid. Acetic Acid reacts with carbonate formation so it is very effective to be used to dissolve carbonate scale. The results of the water analysis in the SG-05 production well can be seen that the formation water that exists or flows in the SG-05 well is Scaling, this is because the saturation scalling Index (SI) is greater than 0 (SI> 0), with this larger SI value causes CaCO3 to tend to be deposited. Based on the results of reading the Inflow Performance Relationship (IPR) curve, before acidizing, the maximum flow rate (Q max) = 88.51 BOPD was obtained, increasing to Qmax = 183.54 BOPD. The Productivity Index (PI) after the acidizing program has increased from 0.203 BOPD / Psi to 0.421 BOPD / Psi.
