Abstract

The Islamic University of Riau is one of the leading private universities in Riau Province, have an adequate internet network facilities. The Networking Lab had a major problem with the data transfer from the server to a client that was making data transfers bad, Therefore, one way to solve this is by applying a dual stack IPv6 to accelerate data transfers on a computer network. With this Dual Stack Implementation design, it can reduce problems on the limited IP address and increase data transfer efficiency capabilities in both local and Internet bandwidth usage. Dual stack IPv6 implementation is used to simulate traffic performance of the network to be more efficient in using it from the delay time. Implementation of dual stack IPv6 using microtic and cisco router with ospf routing will have a significant adventages on network usage.
