Abstract

Slope stability is important for the people that using the road. Landslide and avalanches causes financial loss because the highway had important rules for the people. Discontinuity, weathering, and bad weather influence slope stability. Rock mass rating (RMR) and Rock structure rating (RSR) had been used to analysis the slope stability. Analysis is done in the 3 slopes on the Riau-Sumatera Barat road, KM 92- 97 Tanjung Alai village, XIII Koto Kampar district, Kampar regency, Riau province. Analysis stability on slopes divided the slope into several scanlines to deteremine the data. Rock mass rating (RMR) was categorizes into five classes that was very poor rock, poor rock, fair rock, good rock and very good rock, while the Rock Structure Rating categorize slope conditions based on RSR diagrams.
