Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve the under-passing skills through a variety of teaching strategies in volleyball game class VII 3 at Siak Hulu 4 Public High School. This type of research is PTK. The population in this study amounted to 34 students, then the samples taken were the entire population of 34 students. Based on the results of data processing in the implementation of the first cycle there were 26 students who achieved the KKM score (76%), and 8 students who had not yet reached the KKM score (24%). So this research was continued with the implementation of the second cycle and the results increased with the number of 28 students who reached the KKM score (82%) and 6 students who had not yet achieved the KKM score (18%). Thus it can be concluded that there is an increase in the passing skills of volleyball through the variation strategy of teaching in volleyball games of class VII 3 students at SMPN 4 Siak Hulu.
