Abstract

This study aims to find out how the role of Satpol Police Unit in Kandis District in dealing with community diseases that still exist in the community, especially in KandisSubdistrict and to know the obstacles faced by unscrupulous members of Satpol PP in handling community diseases in Kecamatan Kandis. The type of research located in the office of Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja precisely in the office of Camat in Kandis District is using qualitative method, which is a research that makes human beings as instrument and adapted to a reasonable situation in relation to the collection of data that are generally qualitative and a research procedure that produces descriptive data in the form of written or oral words of observable persons and behaviors. Determination of imforman in this research using purposive sampling technique. Purposive sampling is a technique of sampling the source data with certain considerations that the data source is considered most know about what to expect, thereby making it easier for researchers to explore objects or social situations that are in carefully. Data collection techniques used consist of obserpasi or observation, interview and documentation. The collected data is then used as the main raw material for analyzing the empirical condition of the objective of the existence of the research objectives at the location under study. Based on the above technical analysis, the researchers assessed and concluded that the role of the Civil Service Police Unit in handling the existing community diseases in KecamatanKandis can be said is still less important, and still lack of assertiveness by unscrupulous members of Satpol PP in handling the case so that there are villagers who dare to violate the local regulation. This can happen because there are still obstacles that still interfere with the performance of Satpol PP elements such as the distance is far enough, the state of roads that are still damaged and difficult to give direction to citizens who still violate the local regulation.
