Abstract
This study aims to develop questions based on higher-order thinking to see the extent to which students are ableto work on problems and know about higherorder thinking skills. This research technique is research and development (Research and Development). The development model used is modifying the Suryabrata development model through several stages, namely (1) development of test specifications, (2) writing questions, (3) reviewing questions, (4) assembling questions, (5) testing questions, (6) analysis items, (7) item selection and assembly, and (8) test printing. The results showed that the results in a significant stage then of the 15 multiple choice questions 3 included in the significant category and 3 included in the very significant category. Whereas from the 5 essay questions, 4 were very significant and 1 significant. the test phase illustrates that the questions cannot be arranged all in the package of questions, only that construct validation that has been done by several experts states that the question is feasible in the development and questionnaire responses of students give full support for feasibility.
