Abstract

This study aims to determine the Biology Learning Method of Class XI IPA Students at SMAN 3 Siak Hulu Kampar Regency. This study uses qualitative methods with a case study approach. The instruments used in this study used interview sheets as the main data, observation sheets and documentation as supporting data. The sample used as many as 3 students, of which students are students who have high intelligence ability, while the second student is a student who has moderate intelligence abilities, and the third student is a student who has low intelligence ability. Then the data were analyzed using descriptive analysis. From the results of the recapitulation of all indicators of how to learn the XI IPA class, 61.7% were included in the competent category. The results of the study indicate that there needs to be some improvement in student learning methods, such as motivation or attention from parents and teachers, especially increasing students' concentration in learning at home and at school.
