Abstract

Practical learning activities, especially in schools are still fairly inadequate to become a forum for students to develop their abilities, both cognitive and psychomotor abilities. Particularly in knowing the psychomotor abilities of student trainees is still very limited, because to know the psychomotor abilities of students, one of them is by applying the theories that have been studied with practical activities. This causes researchers to analyze the implementation of science learning practice. This study aims to analyze the implementation of science learning practice and to determine the suitability of facilities and infrastructure for science laboratories at 2 Pasir Penyu Public Schools with the standard IPA laboratory provisions at Permendiknas No.24 of 2007. The study was conducted at SMP 1 and Pasir Penyu 3 in November- December 2018. Data collection techniques in the research used were observation, questionnaire interviews and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively. From the results of the study it was revealed that: 1) Laboratory conditions amounted to 64.93% (sufficient); 2) The practicum time is 64.08% (sufficient); 3) Students' interest in practicum is 69.48% (good); 4) Preparation and practicum implementation of 70.32% (good); 5) The final activity of practicum implementation is 78.86% (good). The average number of percentages of the implementation of science learning practicum was 69.54% with good categories. For the suitability of facilities and infrastructure for science laboratories based on Minister of Education Regulation No. 24 of 2007 viewed from five indicators obtained a percentage, namely: 1) Furniture at 96.43% (very good); 2) Educational equipment at 84.15% (good); 3) Educational media by 75% (good); 4) Other equipment at 95% (very good); 5) Infrastructure of 100% (very good). The average percentage is 58.5% with sufficient categories
